Standardizing Fit & Sizing for Happy Nation

This project focused on creating a standardized fit and sizing strategy for Happy Nation by Victoria’s Secrets by aligning with ASTM and Alvanon industry standards. The goal was to improve size consistency across categories, ensuring garments fit as intended and align with consumer expectations.

Key Contributions:

  • Fit Standardization: Developed a size range proposal (S-XL) to align with ASTM body measurements and industry benchmarks.

  • 3D Fit Integration: Implemented Alvanon dress forms and 3D avatars for virtual fit validation and accuracy.

  • Brand Alignment: Conducted a comparative analysis of Happy Nation’s fit vs. brands like PINK, Justice, and Target.

  • Size Set & Grading Adjustments: Proposed grading improvements and size set fittings to create a seamless fit strategy.

  • Bra Sizing Proposal: Evaluated and recommended a band and cup sizing framework for improved product consistency.

  • Wear Testing & Validation: Developed a wear test program to assess fit, comfort, and wash performance before final production.

This project resulted in a structured, scalable sizing system that improved product consistency and consumer confidence.
